Alexis Zurflüh

Design Director

As a Design Director, Alexis develops brand identities and design systems at the intersection of strategy, design, and execution. His focus lies in building clear, distinctive brand worlds – from positioning and visual language to consistent application across all touchpoints.

After completing his training as a graphic designer in Zurich, his career early on took him to Germany, where he worked in Munich and Hamburg for international publishing houses and collaborated with influential art directors. Positions at Axel Springer, Süddeutsche Zeitung, and Condé Nast shaped his visual signature, as did his work in the creative environment of Mirko Borsche.

With a strong editorial background in art direction, he brings many years of experience in the conception and production of brand and editorial formats. Most recently, he conceived and designed the NZZ am Sonntag Magazin for Neue Zürcher Zeitung.

Today, Alexis works between Munich, Zurich, and Paris, collaborating with brands across a wide range of fields, including finance, beauty, fashion, art, and culture. In addition to brand building, his core competencies include digital communication, motion design, and moving image — with the ambition not only to shape brands visually, but to make them effective and relevant in the long term.
