The collaboration between Energie 360° and Hotz Brand Consultants has been ongoing for over ten years. It began with the complete redevelopment of the corporate design. Since then, Hotz has supported Energie 360° as a strategic branding partner and advisor on all matters relating to branding, image, and communication: from the further development of the corporate design and brand management to the maintenance and design of all brand and design assets.
A milestone in recent years was the website relaunch, which was implemented in an agile Scrum setup. Hotz contributed its expertise in a targeted manner and supported the design stream within the existing team. This smooth collaboration further strengthened the partnership and demonstrates how valuable Hotz's role is in complex, dynamic processes.
In the course of the project for the new website, various opportunities for optimization became apparent. The focus was on a consistent visual brand experience that combines colors, design elements, typography, layouts, graphic style, and imagery in a consistent and recognizable design.
Based on the new graphic style, a comprehensive icon library with over 100 individually designed icons was created, which is continuously being expanded. This is supplemented by numerous illustrations in 2D and 3D style as well as explanatory animations, for example for the various energy networks and product areas of Energie 360°.
In order to make the brand elements uniformly usable and accessible to everyone, a comprehensive brand management portal was set up in Frontify and has been continuously maintained ever since.
Furthermore, Energie 360°'s social media branding was further developed. Design guidelines were drawn up in collaboration with the branding team to ensure a clear and consistent image. The “Scale of Expression” developed in the design system ensures that the expressiveness of social media posts can be varied to suit the application: for example, with more intense colors, more expressive typography, or the use of the Spektro design element.
The e-mobility team also received a wide range of design support: Hotz developed the branding for e-charging stations, parking spaces, parking signs, signposts, and operating instructions – always with the aim of creating a consistent, user-friendly, and brand-appropriate experience.
As part of the redesign of the new company headquarters, Hotz was also commissioned to create signage for the meeting rooms. Working closely together, the idea of using Swiss mountain silhouettes was born. Today, mountain peaks adorn the doors of the large meeting rooms and the surrounding mountain ranges are depicted on the walls.
The collaboration between Energie 360° and Hotz has steadily developed and intensified over the last ten years. Today, Hotz is not only a sparring partner for strategic brand issues, but also supports numerous initiatives with various contacts at Energie 360°. The long-term partnership enables consistent brand management across all touchpoints – from digital presence and spatial design to specific applications in the area of product development.
The modern brand image has been positively received both internally and externally. The uniform visual language, clear brand identity, and forward-looking image strengthen the perception of Energie 360° as an innovative and reliable provider of sustainable energy solutions.
