Meet Reto Odermatt

As Executive Creative Director at Hotz Brand Consultants, Reto is responsible for creative leadership. With his strategic design expertise, he leads interdisciplinary teams that systematically analyze complex challenges and translate them into sustainable, differentiated solutions.

He gained his many years of experience in developing and managing creative processes in Lucerne, Salzburg, Hamburg, and Zurich. Before joining Hotz, he was co-CEO and Creative Director of a branding agency in Zurich.

Over the years, he has worked with brands from a variety of industries, ranging from financial services, tourism, and manufacturing to lifestyle and the public sector. He has been responsible for projects for national and international companies, where he has shaped brand identities, design systems, and strategic communication solutions.

He combines technical precision with strategic leadership skills. His work is based on his training as an advertising technician and certified graphic designer, as well as further education in design thinking and design leadership at the Zurich University of the Arts.
